Winners

USF
USF is moving up in the rankings after a big win versus Florida. Dual threat QB Byrum Brown continues to control games with his legs while also showing good accuracy. The defense played well holding a tough offense and good QB to only 16 points. Good to see K Nico Gramatica hit a game winner like his father former NFL K Martin Gramatica.
Oklahoma
OU was able to pull off the tough win vs Michigan with a strong showing by transfer QB John Mateer showing off his dual threat abilities. Mateer is coming off a big year at Washington State and is considered one of the best QBs. HC Brent Venables’ defense had a strong showing shutting down star freshman QB Bryce Underwood.

Illinois
Although the game started out close, Illinois was able to pull away and win big versus a tough Duke team on the road. QB Luke Altmyer had another strong showing and the defense did a good job slowing Duke down in the 2nd half.
Iowa State
Iowa State got another big win against a strong rival in Iowa mostly led by their defense and a balanced offense. The team has played well led by QB Rocco Becht, although he did struggle at times in this game, but it is a rivalry and Iowa has a good defense.
Missouri
Missouri has proven to be a tough team to deal with especially offensively led by a strong running game and transfer QB Beau Pribula from Penn State who has played well so far. The team had a nice comeback versus a hot Kansas team. The team has seemed to make a quick turnaround after losing playmakers to the draft.

Losers
Florida
Florida loss a tough one at home vs USF mentioned above, but HC Billy Napier is already on the hot seat and things just got hot again with LSU up next on the road.
Kansas
Kansas came in hot with a lot of buzz around QB Jalon Daniels who has been around for a while as a solid dual threat who just can’t stay healthy, but wants to go pro. They loss to a tough Missouri team after blowing a big 1st quarter lead on the road.
