Ell’s 2026 NFL Mock Draft 1.0 – Picks 17-32

17. Lions – DE/Edge Ahkeem Mesidor, Miami

The Lions could use another edge rusher opposite Hutchinson and Mesidor would be a perfect fit. Mesidor fits best in a 4-3 defense and can stop both the run and the pass with good size and strength for the position.

18. Vikings – WR Makai Lemon, USC

The Vikings need to upgrade their offense so adding another WR to the mix would help. They had success with Addison out of USC who could move to the slot. Lemon has good inside/outside versatility as a speed threat and playmaker in space.

19. Panthers – DE Keldric Faulk, Auburn

The Panthers need help against the run and Faulk is one of the best run stoppers in the draft especially at setting the edge. Faulk has NFL size with an improving pass rush to be an immediate starter.

20. Cowboys – DE/Edge T.J. Parker, Clemson

The Cowboys need more pass rush after losing Parsons and Parker has been a consistent pass rusher the last few seasons. He has the build to fill the role that DeMarcus Lawrence had as the secondary pass rusher.

21. Steelers – WR Denzel Boston, Washington

The Steelers need help on offense and appear to be going offensive after hiring HC Mike McCarthy. Boston is a big red zone target with good hands as a possession receiver who would fit nicely in the #2 role.

22. Chargers – DT Kayden McDonald, Ohio State

The Chargers love to add in the trenches and with their O-line returning from injury, I have them going defense. McDonald is big run stopper with a high motor to get into the backfield making him a perfect NT at his size.

23. Eagles – TE Kenyon Sadiq, Oregon

The Eagles have been looking to upgrade their offense and with Goedert entering free agency, I have them adding Sadiq. Sadiq is a pass catching TE with good size and strength along with the versatility to play in the slot.

24. Browns (via trade) – CB Colton Hood, Tennessee

The Browns could use help on both sides of the ball, but they have a need in the secondary. Hood is a physical CB and willing hitter with good size and the potential to be the #2 CB across from Ward.

25. Bears – DT Lee Hunter, Texas Tech

The Bears have a big need in the interior defense mostly stopping the run. Hunter is a big run stopping DT with active feet and the size to plug the middle; he would fit nicely next to Jarrett.

26. Bills – WR Zachariah Branch, Georgia

The Bills could use help on both sides of the ball, but after promoting Joe Brady, I think they go offense. Branch is probably the fastest WR in the draft and would give them a pure deep threat while also helping in the return game.

27. 49ers – T Caleb Lomu, Utah

The 49ers could use help on both sides of the ball but with the yearly injuries, I have them adding to the O-line. Lomu is a solid pass blocking Tackle with good size and footwork, but might fit best as a RT or the 49ers could groom him at LT.

28. Texans – T Monroe Freeling, Georgia

The Texans still need help along the O-line, but this time at RT. Freeling is a rising name as a big run blocking Tackle with good footwork, athleticism, and the skillset to be a long-term starter.

29. Rams – DT Peter Woods, Clemson

The Rams might decide to trade down again like they did last draft as a smart move, but I have them picking best player on the board. Woods is an athletic player with good size and a high motor to make plays behind the line.

30. Broncos – LB Anthony Hill Jr., Texas

The Broncos have a few LB’s entering free agency and Hill is one of my sleeper picks in the draft. Hill is an active LB with good speed who can cover and rush the passer with good size for the position.

*31. Patriots – T Blake Miller, Clemson

The Patriots need to continue to build along the O-line as the long season has tested their lack of depth. Miller is an experienced and durable RT who could also be a long-term starter in the league too.

*32. Seahawks – CB Brandon Cisse, South Carolina

The Seahawks could use help in the secondary at CB with the recent play of Woolen. Cisse is a physical lanky CB with solid coverage skills and athleticism to be a #2 CB.
