Steelers
There were a lot of questions entering the season around QB Aaron Rodgers’ age and possible production behind a rebuilt O-line. Rodgers answered questions with 4tds 0ints in a big win versus his former team. His fit in the offense was a question, but he was able to use the TE’s to move the ball like OC Arthur Smith likes. The rebuilt secondary played well with newcomer CB Jalen Ramsey making a big tackle to seal the game.
Colts
Nobody gave the Colts a chance especially with Daniel Jones being named starting QB. They came out to shock the Dolphins with a 33-8 win behind a good game by Jones 22/29 1TD and 2 rushing TDs. The defense had a very strong showing allowing the 8pts in the 4th quarter with a rebuilt secondary and added playmakers upfront.
Bills
The Bills showed why they are one of the top teams in the league and why QB Josh Allen is arguably the most talented QB in football. The Bills pulled off the big comeback showing resiliency on both sides of the ball in a tough game with 41 pts against the Ravens which was no small task. Allen led the way with 2 TDs throwing and another 2 rushing on a possible MVP repeat. WR Keon Coleman played well with 112yds and a TD after struggling in the offseason.

Chargers
The Chargers pulled off the shocker beating the Chiefs in Brazil to start the season where HC Andy Reid is usually on fire and ready. HC Jim Harbaugh proved he will have his team ready no matter the conditions. Rookie RB Omarion Hampton seems to be legit and bringing back veteran WR Keenan Allen was a smart move. QB Justin Herbert played well with 3TDs and WR Quentin Johnston seems to have regained his confidence with 2TDs after another offseason of drops.
Commanders
The Commanders started with a solid divisional win over the Giants holding them to two field goals in a 21-6 win led by 2nd year QB Jayden Daniels showing good poise. WR Deebo Samuel made his mark in the run game and passing game with Terry McLaurin still catching up. Rookie RB “Bill” Jacory Croskey-Merritt looks to be as good advertised and should take over the starting job. MLB Bobby Wagner proved he still has a lot left in the tank. The secondary with the addition of rookie CB Trey Amos looks to be a problem going forward.
Vikings
The Vikings started out the game cold down to their division rival Bears, but never seemed out of the game pulling off the comeback 27-24. DC Brian Flores has the defense ready despite the changes getting a solid pass rush throughout the game with high energy players. The big story was 2nd year QB J.J. McCarthy heating up after the slow start looking like he did at Michigan with accurate throws off play action and unexpected mobility in his first start. RB Jordan Mason showed good burst and should be a big factor with veteran Aaron Jones.
Jets
Despite the loss, the Jets played very well under new HC Aaron Glenn who had the team playing with a passion we haven’t seen in years on both sides of the ball for the Jets. The team led with the running game with Breece Hall with 107yards and 48yds 2 TDs by QB Justin Fields who also held his own in the passing game. Fields showed a good connection with WR Garrett Wilson who had 95yds and a TD. The defense was very active with Edge Will McDonald IV coming off the edge with a high motor and 2 sacks. The Williams brothers played very well making plays all over the field as well in DT Quinnen Williams and LB Quincy Williams. The team has new life under Glenn and should be competitive in every game.
