1. Raiders QB Fernando Mendoza, Indiana – A
The Raiders get a possible franchise QB with the size, mobility, and leadership to succeed.
2. Jets Edge David Bailey, Texas Tech – B+
The Jets get the best pure pass rusher in the draft in Bailey, he has a high motor and quickness that stands out on film.
3. Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love, ND – C+
Love is the best RB in the draft, but the Cards had bigger needs on defense passing up on their choice of player or even trading down creating a logjam at the position.
4. Titans WR Carnell Tate, Ohio State – B
The Titans decide to go Tate giving them a possible future #1 WR which is needed, but he seems to be more of a #2 and defenders were still on the board.
5. Giants Edge/LB Arvell Reese, Ohio State – B
The Giants were a big mystery to me with so many options to choose from, but in this case, they go best player available in Reese with Tate and Love off the board creating a logjam at Edge.
6. Chiefs (via Browns) CB Mansoor Delane, LSU – A
The Chiefs traded up to get their guy as the other teams ahead had secondary needs. Delane is the best CB in the draft with the size, speed, and experience to be a #1 CB.
7. Commanders LB Sonny Styles, Ohio State – A+
The Commanders select Styles who falls in their lap as a top 5 player in the draft who has the athleticism, tackling skills, and coverage skills to be a three down LB.

8. Saints WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State – B
The Saints were looking for a #2 WR opposite Chris Olave and selected one in Tyson who was originally viewed as a top 10 prospect despite the injuries. He has good speed and inside/outside versatility.
9. Browns (via Chiefs) T Spencer Fano, Utah – B+
The Browns got good value trading down while selecting versatile O-lineman Fano who has played both Tackle spots, but there are questions about his arm length; he could move inside.
10. Giants (via Bengals) – T/G Francis Mauigoa, Miami – B-
The Giants have a need at RG and Mauigoa could fill that role or be groomed at his more natural position of RT long-term. He has good size, athleticism, and mobility in the running game.
11. Dolphins T Kadyn Proctor, Alabama – C
Proctor was originally viewed as a Guard maybe RT before a late rise after his Pro Day showing his athleticism and potential to play LT with his elite size, but I saw him more as a late 1st rounder.
12. Cowboys S Caleb Downs, Ohio State – A+
Downs was one of my favorite players in the draft and one of the safest in my opinion as an athletic Safety with good size, coverage skills, and awareness. A top 3 talent falls in their lap.
13. Rams (via Falcons) QB Ty Simpson, Alabama – C+
The Rams needed insurance for QB Matthew Stafford with the injury concerns last season. Simpson is the only other 1st round caliber QB, and a luxury pick for the Rams.
14. Ravens G Olaivavega Ioane, Penn State – A
The Ravens fill a big O-line need at Guard with Ioane who should be able to jumpstart the running game as an immediate starter and difference maker.
15. Buccaneers Edge/DE Rueben Bain Jr., Miami – A
Another player I consider a top 5 talent in Bain who has good strength, run stopping ability, and pass rushing skills falls in the Bucs lap to HC Todd Bowles, due to concerns of arm length.
16. Jets (via Colts) TE Kenyon Sadiq, Oregon – B
Sadiq impressed showing off his athleticism as the top TE and a pass catching threat, teams question his ability to block, but with Mason Taylor on the roster, Sadiq could be a mismatch.
