
Braves (27-13)
Good: The Braves are running away with the NL East. 2B Ozzie Albies and 1B Matt Olson have been on fire. OF Michael Harris has regained form providing a consistent bat with power. Veteran 1B/DH Dominic Smith has been a solid pickup. 2025 Rookie of the Year C Drake Baldwin has taken over the position. Utility player Mauricio Dubon and late pickup SS Jorge Mateo have been good additions. Veteran Ace Chris Sale continues to lead the pitching staff with help from Bryce Elder. The starting pitching has been above average.
Bad: Star OF Ronald Acuna hasn’t shown as much power as expected and got off to a slow start. 3B Austin Riley has gotten off to a slow start and showing less power. OF Mike Yastrzemski has struggled. SS Ha-Seong Kim got hurt before the season started. C Sean Murphy continues to get hurt and not produce after being a top trade acquisition a couple years ago. The bullpen has struggled and starting P Spencer Strider continues to deal with injuries. The team could still use an OF and pitching help.
Nationals (19-21)
Good: The team is 2nd in the division. OF James Wood and SS C.J. Abrams continue to be the stars of the team showing improvement. The team has been able to produce consistent offense with good power. Starting P Foster Griffin has had a good season and the bullpen has some bright spots. The team is competitive every game.
Bad: OF Dylan Crews continues to struggle with injuries as a top selection a few years ago. The starting pitching has been horrible and in need of a real veteran or 2. The bullpen could use help as well. The team needs upgrades in the infield.

Phillies (18-22)
Good: Veteran 1B/OF Bryce Harper is having another good season along with DH/OF Kyle Schwaber continuing to show top-level power. Veteran SS Trea Turner continues to provide a consistent bat with power while playing leadoff. OF Brandon Marsh has been a consistent bat this year and veteran OF Adolis Garcia has rebounded after two down years with the Rangers. Young OF Justin Crawford has been good in limited play so far. Veteran C J.T. Realmuto continues to play well but has had injuries. 2B Edmundo Sosa has provided good depth. Starting P Cristopher Sanchez has been solid again leading the team and Ace Zack Wheeler has been good but is injured. The bullpen has played well.
Bad: The starting pitching has been bad with Jesus Luzardo taking a step back and veteran Aaron Nola continuing to decline, amongst others. 3B Alec Bohm and 2B Bryson Stott have struggled this season, especially Bohm. The team could use an upgrade at 3B or a consistent infield bat and starting pitching help.
Marlins (18-22)
Good: The team has shown growth led by SS Otto Lopez, 2B Xavier Edwards, and 2nd year C/1B Liam Hicks with consistent bats with and improvement of power. The offense has kept the team in games this season. The starting pitching has been above average led by Ace Max Meyer, veteran Janson Junk, and former Ace Sandy Alcantara who is showing improvement after a slow start. The bullpen has been above average.
Bad: The young OF is struggling to get on base and showing less power in Kyle Stowers, Jakob Marsee, and addition Owen Caissie top prospect from the Cubs. C Augustin Ramirez has taken a step back showing less power but has time to improve. The starting pitching needs help and Eury Perez has struggled. The bullpen could use a veteran addition and the team needs a veteran OF bat.
Mets (15-24)
Good: Star OF Juan Soto continues to lead the team as one of the top bats in the game. The starting pitching has played well led by new addition Ace Freddy Peralta, young Ace Nolan McLean, and veteran Clay Holmes.
Bad: The team is in last place after paying big money to bring in help. The bats haven’t produced as expected even big acquisitions SS Bo Bichette and OF Luis Robert Jr. 3B Brett Baty has struggled and hasn’t shown as much power. Top prospect OF Carson Benge has gotten off to a slow start. SS Francisco Lindor got hurt before the season and has dealt with injuries. The starting pitching they invested in hasn’t paid off with veteran Sean Manaea and Kodai Senga struggling. The team could use batting help mostly in the OF and bullpen/closing help with Devin Williams continuing to struggle.
